Description
Heads on the southwest slope of Cooper Mountain, 6.4 km (4 mi) southwest of Beaverton, flows west then southwest to enter the Tualatin River, 3.2 km (2 mi) north-northwest of Scholls.

Named for John McKernan, Oregon pioneer and US Army soldier.
