Description
Heads on the N slope of Chehalem Mountain, just W of Laurel Ridge flowing beneath Schmeltzer Road and through the community of Mountain Home before joining Fir Clearing Creek, 5.5 km (3.4 mi) NNE of Newburg.
History
Named for Conrad Schmeltzer who homesteaded in the area in 1877.
