History
Named for the community of Gresham, which was named in honor of Walter Quinton Gresham (1832-1895), a gallant soldier in the Civil War who later served in 2 presidential cabinets as Postmaster General, Secretary of the Treasury, and Secretary of State. (OR-T2/1974/p329-330)
