History
On 7/10/25, the BGN voted to approve the name Klamath Straits Drain for what was previously recorded as Klamath Strait and Klamath Strait Drain Outlet. In 1945, the BGN approved the name Klamath Strait for the northern part of the featue, but local use remained Klamath Straits. The name Klamath Straits Drain has been applied to both features for decades.
