Description
Heads in East Tanner Lake, 0.5 km (0.3 mi) northwest of Tanner Mountain, flows north to join Tanner Creek, 0.6 km (0.4 mi) south of its junction with Sucker Creek; located within the Red Buttes Wilderness.
History
Named for Ezra Sherman Tanner (ca. 1820-1877), who received a donation land claim in the area in 1854.
