Description
Located along the southern Oregon coast on which Gregory Point is located, 4 km (2.5 mi) W of Charleston, within the Cape Arago US Coast Guard Station.
History
This name was given to the island by the Coos Indians to honor all past Coos tribal chiefs. The Coos Tribe formerly inhabited a village on the headland on the mainland directly opposite the island.
