History
The name recognizes Elias D. Keas (1809-1870) and Mary Ann “Polly” Keas (1816-1898), pioneers in the Kings Valley Area. The Keas family arrived in Benton County in 1847, and according to historical records was granted a 641-acre Donation Land Claim by the U.S. Government in 1851.
