Description
Located in western Ohio along the boundary with Indiana, 29 km (18 mi) west of Dayton; County Seat: Easton.
History
Established on 15 February 1808, effective 1 March 1808. Named for Captain Edward Preble, a naval commander in the Revolutionary War. (OH-T801/p278)
