Description
Located in central Ohio, just north of Columbus; County Seat: Delaware.
History
Established in 1808; named for the local Algonquin Indians who took their name from the Delaware River in Delaware and Pennsylvania, an area where the Tribe formerly lived. The Tribe relocated to Ohio in the 1700s. (OH-T801/p276)
