Description
Located in west central Ohio along the boundary with Indiana, 32 km (20 mi) northwest of Dayton; County Seat: Greenville.
History
Established in 1816; named for Colonel William Darke, whose army retreated after being soundly defeated by the Indians at Fort Recovery in 1791. (OH-T801/p276)
