Description
Located in southern Ohio along the boundary with Kentucky, 50 km (31 mi) east-southeast of Cincinnati; County Seat: Georgetown.
History
Established on 27 December 1817, effective 1 March 1818. Named for General Jacob Brown whose army defeated the British in the Battle of Lundy's Lane in the War of 1812. (OH-T801/p275)
