Description
Narrow plateau beginning in northwest corner of North Dakota between Missouri River and River des Lacs and Souris River and running SE and S, with its southern limit not well defined; and its western escarpment forming the bluffs of the Missouri (Board on Geographic Names (BGN) Sixth Report, p.238).
