Revels Prong is located approx. 2.2 mi. long; heads in Pisgah National Forest, 2.6 mi. ESE of Balsam Grove, 0.25 mi. SE of Three Forks Mountain, flows generally E to enter Catheys Creek 1.9 mi. NW of Selica
History
Named for Hiram Rhoades Revels (1827?-1901), who was born in North Carolina and was the first African-American elected to Congress.
