Description
Located in in southern Stanly County, 12 km (8 mi) south of Albemarle.
History
Incorporated in 1943; the community's charter was repealed in 1945; named by local residents, "aqua" for "water" and "dale" for "valley" for the many springs in the area. (NC-T11/p12)
