Description
Incorporated community; located in northeastern Stanley County along Badin Lake, 8 km (5 mi) northeast of Albemarle.
History
Eastablished in 1913 by Adrien Badin, a Frenchman who operated an aluminum processing plant here. (NC-T11/p19)
