History
Named for George Moody, who owned the property from 1929 to the 1950s. A proposal to change the name Moody Lake to Whitehall Lake was denied by the BGN, June 10, 2010. The proposed name reflected the lake's location within Whitehall Corporate Center and its proximity to the Whitehall horse farm.
