Description
Located in southern North Carolina, 40 km (25 mi) west of Fayetteville; County Seat: Raeford.
History
Formed in 1911 from Cumberland and Robeson Counties; named for Robert F Hoke (1837-1912), a Major General in the Army of the Confederacy. (NC-T11/p231)
