Description
Located in western North Carolina along the boundary with Tennessee, 137 km (85 mi) west southwest of Asheville; County Seat: Robbinsville.
History
Formed in 1872 from Cherokee County; named for William A Graham (1804-1875), U S Senator, Governor of North Carolina, Secretary of the Navy, and Confederate Senator. (NC-T11/p196)
