Description
Kennison Bay is located on W shore of Lake George 0.48 km (0.3 mi) NW of Friends Point and 11.3 km (7 mi) SW of Ticonderoga.
History
Named for David Kennison (1736-1852), who at the time of his death was the last surviving member of the Boston Tea Party, served in the Revolutinary War and fought in the battles at Sacketts Harbor, and Williamsburgh during the War of 1812.
