Located along Platte Clove Road, 0.8 km (0.5 mi) W of Devils Kitchen, 1.1 km (0.7 mi) N of Plattekill Mountain, just NW of Plattekill Clove, 4 km (2.5 mi) W of Manorville, in Catskill State Park.
History
Name derived from the Dutch "platte kloof", meaning flat cleft or gap.
