Heads on the north side of Capilla Peak, trends northeast to Cañon de Torreon.
History
The original 15-min map named Terreon, published in 1954, and the 7.5-min map named Capilla Peak, labelled this feature as "Cañon de las Palas". However, the Terreon 7.5-min map appears to have dropped the "de" from the name.
