Located on the east slope of Round Top, 8 km (5 mi) northwest of Gallinas Peak and 22.5 km (14 mi) west- northwest of Corona.

According to the 1981 Board on Geographic Names (BGN) Decision notes, a space is to appear between the "u" and the "B" in the specific part of this name. The variant form of "DuBois Trick Tank" appears on the 19?? edition of the Progresso SE map.
