Description
N-S trending mountain range extending from Costilla Creek on the N, to the Rio Fernando de Taos on the S, it forms the part of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains between the Culebra Range to the N, and the Sante Fe Mountains to the S, and is separated from the Cimmarron Range to theE by the Moreno Valley. Wheeler Peak at 13150 feet is its highest point. N end at 3657N10530W, S end at 3622N10530W.
