Description
Flows east-northeast from Trinchera Lake to Rio Salado, 4.8 km (3 mi) west of Tres Hermanos Mesa and 51 km (32 mi) northwest of Magdalena. Prior to the Board on Geographic Names (BGN) decision, both the application and source for Alamocita Creek were located on the Madre Mountain quadrangle, the source being located at approximately 342000N1075749W.
