Heads in Arizona on the NE slope of the Carrizo Mountains, trends NE into Mew Mexico to the San Juan River 0.97 km (0.6 mi) NW of the mouth of Red Wash and 25.4 km (15.8 mi) NW of Shiprock (US-T121).
