Description
Heads at Black River Spring and flows southeast through Black Canyon, then northeast to the Pecos River, 26 km (16 mi) southeast of Carlsbad. The map symbology is not evident to indicate the continuation of the stream from the coordinates on the Grapevine Draw map, NW sec 16, to the stream symbology just west of Bottomless Lakes on the Carlsbad Caverns map, SE sec 3.
