Description
Completed in 1963. Project is located about 14 mi SW of Roswell on the Rio Hondo, a trib. of the Pecos River. Two dams, Diamond A Dam, located at 331752N1044325W, on the Rio Hondo and Rocky Dam, located at 331605N1044325W, on the trib. Rocky Arroyo, create the reservoir. The reservoir is emptied as soon as possible after each flood.
