Description
Heads on the E slope of Peavine Peak, 4 km (2.5 mi) S of Lemmon Valley, trends 3.1 km (1.9 mi) NE toward Lemmon Valley.

Named for Jonathan C Smyles, surveyor and Peavine Mining District Recorder in the 1860s and 1870s.
