Description
Located in northwestern Nebraska along the boundary with South Dakota, 103 km (64 mi) northeast of Scottsbluff; County Seat: Rushville.
History
Named in honor of Civil War General Philip H Sheridan (1831-1888). Boundaries were defined on 25 February 1885. (NE-T18/p132)
