Description
Located in central Nebraska along the Missouri River and the boundary with Iowa; County Seat: Papillion.
History
Named for Colonel Peter A Sarpy (1804-1865). Formerly part of Douglas County, Sarpy County was organized into a new County on 7 February 1857. (NE-T18/p124)
