Located in southeastern Nebraska along the Missouri River and the boundary with Missouri and Iowa; County Seat: Nebraska City.
History
Named for the Otoe Indian Tribe. Boundaries were defined on 2 March 1855 and redefined on 26 January 1856. (NE-T18/p108)
