Located in southern Nebraska, 64 km (40 mi) southeast of Grand Island; County Seat: Clay Center.
History
Named for Kentucky Statesman, Henry Clay. Boundaries were defined on 7 March 1855, again on 26 January 1856, and redefined on 16 February 1867. (NE-T18/p42)
