Description
Incomplete record. Trends NW-SE, N and E of the Absaroka Range and W of the City of Red Lodge, Montana; they are bound on the W by the Boulder River, East Fork Boulder River, Slough Creek, Lake Abundance Creek, and Fishere Creek, and on the S by Clarks Fork Yellowstone River.
History
The name comes from Beartooth Mountain, so named because its white limestone cliffs resemble the tooth of a bear.
