Description
Heads at the junction of East Fork Armells Creek and West Fork Armells Creek, flows N to Yellowstone River 1.6 km (1 mi) NE of Nichols.
History
A proposal to change the name Armells Creek to Immells Creek was submitted in January 1999; the USBGN rejected the proposal in September 1999, based on long-time local usage of the current feature name spelling and in agreement with the Montana Board on Geographic Names, the Montana Water Resources Division, and the county governments.
