Description
Located within Katy Trail State Park, along the south and west side of the Missouri River extending from Moniteau Creek southeastward to Sugar Loaf Rock.
History
The name “Manitou” is of Algonquian origin and refers to the human-like figures that once appeared in pictographs on bluffs along the river.
