Description
A swampy place which has the appearance of a pond or lake in the southern part of Wayne Township.
History
Cato is said to have been an Indian who stayed behind when his tribe left this section of Missouri in 1825. He lived alone somewhere in this neighborhood. (County Map, MARBLE HILL PRESS (1900-1904)
