Description
Located on N shore of Leech Lake, SE of Steamboat Ba y, 2.4 km (1.5 mi) SE of Minnesota Island, 8 km (5 mi) N of Walker, 40 kim (25 mi) SE of Bemidji, in the Leech Lake Indian Reservation.

Named for the oak trees growing in the area.
