Description
Heads 13 km (8 mi) WSW of Cadillac, flows SE through the Manistee National Forest into the North Branch Pine River, 6.4 km (4 mi) NW of Tustin and 31 km (19.3 mi) N of Reed City.
History
Named for Chester Fairchild, an early homesteader of the property through which the feature flows.
