Description
Located under central Lake Michigan, between Door-Leelanau Ridge (qv) and Two Rivers Ridge (qv), est of Kewaunee, Wisconsin and west of Arcadia, Michigan; feature located outside of county boundary.
History
Named for Lake Chippewa, the lowest point of Lake Michigan, and for the local Chippewa Tribe; SPN 3/18/97
