Description
Located on RI-MA boundary, 25 mi SE of Worcester (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1662, incorporated as a town in 1845. Name taken from the river flowing through town, which was named after William Blackstone (1595-1675), first resident of Boston and later the first white settler on the river (MA-T1/p9).
