Description
Located 18 mi SE of Worcester; Worcester County (US-T121).
History
It was settled in 1660 and incorporated as a town in 1667. Named for Mendam (Mendham), Suffolk County, England. Before 1667 the settlement was called the township of Qunshapage (MA-T1/p30).
