Description
Located 10 mi SE of Fitchburg; Worcester County (US-T121).
History
It was settled in 1643 and incorporated as a town in 1653. Named for Lancaster, England, the home Town of many of the first settlers. Before 1653, it was common land called Nashaway (MA-T1/p26).
