Description
Located 12 mi SW of Fitchburg; Worcester County (US-T121).
History
It was settled in 1737 and incorporated as a town in 1775. Named for Thomas Hubbard, one of the original proprietors, who promised to buy glass for the first meeting house if the town was so named (MA-T1/p25).
