Wings Flats is located formerly in Buzzards Bay 0.3 mi S of Stony Point; Town of Wareham.
History
According to U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) "Wings Flats" name was dropped in 1937 when "Hog Island Channel" was dredged cutting through the center of the flats.
