Description
Located on Buzzard Bay, 18 mi SW of Plymouth; Plymouth County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1679, incorporated as a town on May 14, 1852. Named in honor of General Francis Marion, a Southern hero of the Revolution (MA-T1/p29).
