0.5 mi SW of Cohasset; Town of Cohasset.
History
The name, Bear Hill, has a long history in the town records while only the middle age and younger people refer to it as Reservoir Hill (apparently for a reservoir at its crest). The southern part of the hill was once called Town Hill and was the site of the Town Poor Farm (U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) files).
