Located 18 mi SW of Boston; Norfolk County (US-T121).
History
Settled about 1650, incorporated as the Town of Stoughtonham in 1775. So named after the parent Town of Stoughton. Renamed Sharon in 1783 for a plain in Palestine, meaning 'his field, ' where Davids herds fed (MA-T1).
