Shallow Pond is located site of a former lake on N coast of Nantucket Island between Copaum and Reed Ponds 1.5 mi WNW of Nantucket; Town of Nantucket.

Name published in 1869 by Ewer, as Shallop Pond' and in 1882 by Godfrey as 'shallow Pond'.
