Description
Located on the NH-MA boundary, 5 mi NW of Lowell; Middlesex County (US-T121).
History
Settled before 1661, incorporated as a town in 1809. Named after the Tyng family, members of which were among the original grantees of the town and included the first family unit to settle permanently in the town (MA-T1)
