Description
Located 14 mi SW of Lowell; Middlesex County (US-T121).
History
Settled in 1680, incorporated as a town in 1835. Evidently took its name from its shape (like a square box) before the present Littleton-Boxborough Boundary was drawn in 1906 (MA-T1/p10).
